What is a blueprint?
Every soul has a uniqueness, even if it is connected to the big picture. The environment in which you grow up and the way you grow up shape you. Nevertheless, my perception (and that of many great philosophers and spiritualists) is that the personality and the spiritual gifts and potential that you bring with you are already within you in early childhood (or even before) and begin to unfold.
Circumstances then influence whether your being can unfold easily or whether you experience more fears and traumas that cut you off/anesthetize you a little from your being. Many seek help in addiction or distraction but in the long run this does not work and is not very nourishing. Your soul is calling you back to it - it is always there and connected to you - but do you also hear its messages and follow them courageously?
